Greece present at the legendary Meydan Racecourse in Dubai
Greece will be represented at the legendary Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, during the Dubai World Cup 2025, which will take place next Saturday, April 5, and is organized by the Dubai Racing Club.
And this is thanks to Daphne Votanopoulou, one of the talented and innovative visual artists of our time, and her works that will be exhibited during those days at the Meydan Racecourse.
The exhibition highlights Daphne’s passion for the equestrian life and marks a milestone, as she is the first Greek artist to be presented at this emblematic venue. Through her works, Daphne seeks to honour the irreplaceable connection between humans and horses, while highlighting the importance of art as a means of cultural expression.
Recognised as the world’s largest and most impressive racecourse, Meydan Racecourse serves as a canvas for celebrating the UAE’s equestrian heritage. Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai World Cup has established itself as one of the world’s most iconic horse racing events, attracting equestrian enthusiasts and more than 100,000 spectators from around the world.
